Russia Heat

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Russia Heat (formerly known as COED 7) was a Danish band, formed in 1982-83 by Mikael Dehn (synths, vocals), Julian LeFay (synths) and Ian Elf (synths) with additional help from sideman Jens Walther (engineering/production).

[edit] Biography

All of Russia Heat's members had been active music for quite some years.

The band's first hit single was "Tell Me Your Name" in 1985. They were among the first to start the electronic/New Wave history in Denmark[citation needed].

After the band disbanded, Mikael, or as he called himself in Russia Heat, Mikael DK, had already a long musical career in his past and would go on to become a member of the Danish cult band Love Shop. Elf later formed The Overlords, Koxbox Seikopod a.o.

Irmgardz labelled them on 2 12" EPs, "Tell me your Name"(1985) and "Bomb Beat Boys"(1986).
