Russell Streiner (born February 6, 1940) is an American film producer and actor. Streiner is known for his role as Johnny in Night of the Living Dead (1968). He was also one of the producers of the film. Streiner has also produced There's Always Vanilla (1971) and The Booby Hatch (1976). He worked in the advertising field for several years while continuing to do film, television, commercial, and corporate production work. Russell has been actively involved in bringing film and television productions to western Pennsylvania throughout his career, and currently serves as chairman on the Board of Directors of the Pittsburgh Film Office (formerly known as the Pittsburgh Film & Television Office).[1]
He also makes occasional appearances and signs autographs at horror conventions. He continues to make his home in Pittsburgh and has one son, two daughters, and one granddaughter.
