Russell Savage (b. 27 January, 1948) was the independent member for the Victorian Legislative Assembly seat of Mildura from 1996 until 2006.
He lost his seat to the National Party in the 2006 Victorian State election, possibly due to local concerns that the state government was planning to build a toxic waste dump in the area[original research?].
Prior to entering politics, Savage was employed as a police officer.
