Russell Northe

Russell Northe (born 6 February 1966) is an Australian politician and member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly since 2006. He was previously a local Australian rules football player and business manager before winning Nationals preselection for the seat of Morwell. Doubling the Nationals primary vote, he secured victory with the aid of Liberal and independent preferences; the first time the seat was lost by the Australian Labor Party in almost 40 years.
