Russell Boulter

Russell Boulter (born 7 April 1963 in Liverpool) is an English actor. He has played DS John Boulton in The Bill from 1995 to 2000, since then he has appeared in Casualty and Judge John Deed. He also appeared in 3 episodes of Heartbeat as Inspector Crossely. In March 2007, Russell played a Police Officer in ITV1's Mobile.
In 2008, he starred alongside other former The Bill favourites, Cyril Nri and Philip Whitchurch in an episode of BBC1's Waking the Dead.
Real name Russell Byrne.[citation needed] Attended St. John's Secondary School, Warrington, Cheshire.
