Russell Walter Michna (born February 3, 1981 in Elk Grove Village, Illinois) is an American football quarterback for the Chicago Rush of the Arena Football League. He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the St. Louis Rams of the National Football League out of Western Illinois University. While he never made the Rams active roster, he did spend time on their practice squad, as well as playing two seasons as a backup for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League.

Michna attended Conant High School in Hoffman Estates, Illinois and was a student and a letterman in football, basketball, and baseball. In football, he was an All-State selection as a senior. Russ Walter Michna graduated from Conant High School in 1999.

Russ currently is coaching at his former high school, James B. Conant High School and will be a substitute teacher within the Illinois School District 211.
