Russ Irwin is a singer-songwriter from Melville, New York. He was signed by Charles Koppelman to SBK Records in 1991, and a self-titled album, produced by Phil Ramone, followed later that year. The album peaked at #28 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, and a single, "My Heart Belongs to You", hit #28 on the Billboard Hot 100.[1] He toured with Roxette in 1992. Irwin was a one-hit wonder; he never released another album or single. However, he played with Mayfield later in the 1990s, and appeared with Aerosmith (1997-2007) and Sting (1999-2000) on tour.[2] Most recently, he co-wrote a song for Meat Loaf's Bat Out of Hell III.
