Rushk

Rushk (Urdu: رشک) was a short-lived Pakistani band. Their only album was released to critical acclaim but unfortunately got a tepid commercial response. Uns Mufti, the brains behind Rushk, continues to create his own brand of music under the name of Rola, which is his media creation and advertising house.
[edit] The Behtee Naar controversy
Rushk shot the first video from their album Sawal for the track Behtee Naar. The video was directed by Saqib Malik and starred leading Pakistani fashion personalities including Tariq Amin and the Karachi-based supermodel Iraj Manzoor. The video though critically appreciated stirred much controversy for its strong gay undertones and some bondage shots. It was subsequently removed from telecast by Indus Television and Indus Music, after having got an intensive run for a few months. Rushk did not release any other videos.

Rushk’s second video, Khuahish, also starring Ayesha and directed by Amean J, focuses on the war on Iraq. It begins by showing a person entering a plain white room from a blizzard raging outside. He goes through the motions of striking a match and proceeds to meticulously wear white gloves and a white mask, somehow rendering an eerily chilling effect
