Rushes is a 1998 ambient electronic album by The Fireman, a pseudonym for Paul McCartney and producer Youth.
Better received than predecessor Strawberries Oceans Ships Forest, Rushes is distinguished by not relying so much on McCartney's previous recordings. It remains to this day The Fireman's most recent release, though McCartney and Youth would collaborate once more on McCartney's Liverpool Sound Collage in 2000.
Like their first album, Rushes was a no show in the charts, and is also no longer in print.
