Rusheen Bay

Rusheen Bay is a bay in Galway on the west coast of Ireland. Rusheen Bay is famous for producing world class windsurfers. This scenic bay is ideal for both wavesailing and freestyle with the outside reef "Johns" regularly getting up to mast high waves. Famous sailors here include Scott Kennedy know mostly for his 1997 come back from heroin abuse to win the UK title ahead of Nigel Plummer[citation needed]. Now in its hey day Rusheen Bay still regularly produces the cream of Irish watersports.
