I'm a 24 year old graduate student, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I grew up in Austin, TX, and I attended the University of Texas at Austin for my undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering. Hook 'em horns!

My academic interests include mechanical and nuclear engineering, materials science and nanomaterials, ancient history, prehistory, and the history of the Earth, evolution, space exploration, space colonization, and terraforming, and global climate change and global warming, among other things. My less erudite interests include fantasy and science fiction literature, electronica and rock music, movies, basketball, and football.

My main focus on Wikipedia so far has been on:

  • Vastly expanding the content of The Black Company, as well as adding Plot Summaries and Character Lists to the individual books in the series
  • Improving coverage Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series and related articles
