Rungwe

Rungwe is one of the 8 districts of the Mbeya Region of Tanzania. It is bordered to the North by the Mbeya Rural District, to the East by the Iringa Region, to the Southeast by the Kyela District, to the Southwest by the Ileje District and to the West by the Mbeya Urban District.

According to the 2002 Tanzania National Census, the population of the Rungwe District was 307,270.[1]

The District Commissioner of the Rungwe District is Abed Mwinyimusa.[2]
