[edit] Rum Rebellion Musical performance recording

Ive got a live recording I made in Sydney by an Australian Bush/Punk/Folk/Rock band Skew-Whiff in a Rocks hotel back in the 80's. Sometime I might dig it out of storage and describe it here. What are the laws on sound bites and lyrics? how small does it have to be to be fit for purpose intended. There is almost zero google presence (they were popular in 1985) but i have a card with logo and possibly some video as well. moza 05:32, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

I did a bit more hunting, it turns out the name is Skewiff and theres a pic at http://www.kmc.nsw.gov.au/images/Picture_0541.jpg article about them playin at Australia Day 2006 here and about Alex Cronin here and a contact for the past performance at bushdance@scog.asn.au 'Now in its 13th year, this year’s Mardi Gras BushDance will feature live band Skewiff'. So whatever, maybe they are available to contribute something to this article. 'Dave Kennedy's band ‘Skewiff’' performed, webpage

here or pdf here. enjoy.moza 12:36, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

Hi all,

I have restructed the article to make it easier to grasp. This was the facts of Bligh's appointment, the conflict with Macarthur, the overthrow and Maquaries appointment are first. All the details about events in Bligh's governorship (perhaps should be in Bligh's article in a Governor of NSW section?) and the causes underlying the rebellion come later.
