I was thinking that ASROC should be upper case in this article, ie. RUM-139 VL-ASROC. Any comments on that, pro, con? --Dual Freq (talk) 03:15, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- ASROC means "Anti-Submarine ROCket", and as such an acronym, it should always be capitalized. Some editor should correct the title of this article.
- Examples of other such acronyms that are always capitalized are NATO, NORAD, BMEWS, AWACS, CINCPAC, ASW, PACFLT, LAMPS III, CONUS (CONtiguous United States).
