[edit] ASROC

I was thinking that ASROC should be upper case in this article, ie. RUM-139 VL-ASROC. Any comments on that, pro, con? --Dual Freq (talk) 03:15, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

ASROC means "Anti-Submarine ROCket", and as such an acronym, it should always be capitalized. Some editor should correct the title of this article.
Examples of other such acronyms that are always capitalized are NATO, NORAD, BMEWS, AWACS, CINCPAC, ASW, PACFLT, LAMPS III, CONUS (CONtiguous United States). Doesn't anyone have any have any common sense about these things ?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.249.75.44 (talk) 19:31, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
