According to the Boundary Commission Report, accessed 22 Jan 2006, the name of the constituency has a comma between "Ruislip" and "Northwood". This seat is the successor to Ruislip-Northwood
[edit] Boundaries
Following their review of parliamentary representation in North London, the Boundary Commission for England has created a new seat of Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner to deal with population changes.
The electoral wards used in the creation of this seat are:
- Eastcote and East Ruislip, Harefield, Ickenham, Northwood, Northwood Hills and West Ruislip from the London Borough of Hillingdon
- Hatch End, Pinner and Pinner South from the London Borough of Harrow
[edit] Election results
This new constituency will be fought for the first time at the UK general election (in 2010 or earlier). Boundary changes most likely mean that it will become an even safer Conservative seat than its predecessor.
