Zhou Tong
One of the graphics people has asked if you could possibly improve the face on the Graphic lab Zhou Tong image. I recently improved the eyes, ears, mouth, and area where the beard connects with the side burns (notice the eyes are now looking at the viewer instead of off to one side). Here is a comparison of my newest version of the face drawn with the windows paint program (left) and the current svg image (right). The graphics editors think the current svg looks "creepy". I think if someone where able to zoom in on my version and trace the facial expression and additional details click-by-click, then the face will be okay. I would do it myself, but I've never used inkscape before. However, I am a master of of the old windows paint program. (It's amazing what you can do when you're bored!) I don't think the lines making up the facial expressions are nearly dark enough on the current svg. You can barely see it. I hope you can help. -Ghostexorcist 21:10, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Scouting in Belarus logo.svg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Scouting in Belarus logo.svg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Scouting in Belarus logo.svg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Scouting in Belarus logo.svg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 05:40, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
Persian translation
Are you still here? You are missed! Thank you for all your help! Chris 00:31, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, if you are, we would ask if you could help us with some more text on the Iran Red Emblem, have a look at the last two replies *here* to see what we would like you to do.
I am not so active anymore with translating/vector drawing. If you need though you could put a message on my talk page and I will look at it more from now on. I assume the request you sent me is not needed anymore since I cannot find anything Persian needed to be translated.Akiramenai 14:53, 26 August 2007 (UTC)talk
