Template talk:Rugby union in Scotland
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Formatting
I have changed the formatting of this template so that it is similar to the other rugby links templates; {{French_Rugby_links}}, {{Eng rugby prem}}, {{Pacific rugby union links}}, {{Irish rugby links}}, {{Italian_Rugby_links}}, {{SANZAR links}}, {{Rugby Wales links}}.
Is there any reason for Scotland to be different ? KeithW 23:04, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
I've reverted this template to what is, in my opinion, a far more useful and effective set-up. However another more established user is clearly of a different view and I'm fully expecting that it won't last long. I find the notion that we have to settle for a worse-looking template, just to standardise with other countries boxes, unfair unjustified and insulting, because the original one which I had updated and tidied was very effective and took people straight to what they wanted. Lets not kid ourselves that many people accessing the page will know much or anything about Scottish domestic rugby or its organisation.
However, this is probably going to get ridden roughshod over in the quest for standardization, but I'll live in hope it won't. HibeeJibee —Preceding signed but undated comment was added at 00:00, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
Have tried to reach a compromise by introducing new elements, and removing the Premiership club lists from the bottom. HibeeJibee 00:23, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
