The Ruger 77/22 is a bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered for the .22 Long Rifle, .22 WMR, or .22 Hornet. It has a removable rotary magazine which allows the magazine to fit flush with the bottom of the stock. The 77/22 was introduced in 1983 and was based on the centerfire Model 77 Mark II[1]. Each rifle comes with scope rings and a lock.

[edit] Variants

The 77/22 comes in three variants—Standard, All-weather, and Target. The Standard and Target models are available in three calibers, .22 LR, .22 WMR, or .22 Hornet, while the All-weather model is available in two, .22 LR and .22 WMR. Each variant differs in stock material, barrel length, and weight.

A version chambered for the .17 Mach 2 and .17 HMR cartridges, the 77/17, is also available. It's essentially the same gun with a .17 caliber barrel.
