Rugby union in American Samoa is a growing sport.
The American Samoa national rugby union team has not competed in a world cup yet.
[edit] History
Rugby has been played to an extremely high level in neighbouring Western Samoa, which has reached the World Cup on a number of occasions, and whose team calls itself "Manu Samoa" meaning the Samoan team. Many immigrants to American Samoa come from Western Samoa, but in American Samoa itself, the game is overshadowed by American Football.
