Talk:Ruffles

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I'm not sure that potato chip flavors are encyclopedic, but allowing that they might be, these flavors seem to be out of date. The Frito-Lay website ([1], accessed 9/15/06) reports the following flavors:

  • BAKED! RUFFLES Cheddar & Sour Cream Flavored Potato Crisps
  • BAKED! RUFFLES Original Potato Crisps
  • RUFFLES Cheddar & Sour Cream Flavored Potato Chips
  • RUFFLES KC Masterpiece Mesquite BBQ Flavor Potato Chips
  • RUFFLES Light Cheddar & Sour Cream Flavored Potato Chips
  • RUFFLES Light Original Potato Chips
  • RUFFLES Natural Reduced Fat Regular Sea Salted Potato Chips
  • RUFFLES Reduced Fat Potato Chips
  • RUFFLES Regular Potato Chips
  • RUFFLES Sour Cream & Onion Flavored Potato Chips

The Twist and All Dressed flavors seem not to exist (anymore?); likewise the Sour Cream and Bacon version. If this were my area of expertise, I would think the page should have an updated list of flavors and should discuss a little more extensively the nutritional differences between BAKED! chips, Light chips, Reduced Fat chips, and the standard variety. --ombret 19:13, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

That's a tragedy. Ruffles Ranch and Ruffles Baked Potato were fuckin' awesome! 24.218.218.9 23:24, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Slogan

Ruffles is the name of a brand of ruffled potato chips produced by Frito-Lay. Its current official product slogan is "R-R-R-Ruffles Have Ridges!" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.42.51.171 (talk) 14:14, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Why does it have such a lame slogan?

Because R-R-Ruffles have Ridges! --Randomsarcastic 23:05, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
