The Rufous-headed Tanager (Hemithraupis ruficapilla) is a species of bird in the Thraupidae family. It is endemic to Brazil. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, and heavily degraded former forest.
