The Rufous-crowned Babbler (Malacopteron magnum) is a species of bird in the Timaliidae family. It is found in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Thailand. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
