Rufina is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Florence in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 20 km east of Florence. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,122 and an area of 45.7 km².[1]

The municipality of Rufina contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Masseto, Selvapiana, Stentatoio, Pomino, Contea, Scopeti, Casini, Rimaggio, Castelnuovo, Cigliano, Agna, Falgano, and Casi.

Rufina borders the following municipalities: Dicomano, Londa, Montemignaio, Pelago, Pontassieve, Pratovecchio.
