Rueifang, Taipei

Rueifang (瑞芳鎮) is an urban township in the eastern part of Taipei County, Taiwan Province of the Republic of China. Mining was an important industry in Rueifang in the early 20th century. That includes gold mining in Jioufen (九份) and Jinguashih (金瓜石); coal mining in Houtong (猴硐). These mining sites became popular tour sites after 1990.

Gongliao is served by the Yilan Line Railroad of Taiwan Railway Administration. There are three stations in Rueifang Township: Rueifang, Houtong, and Sandiaoling.
Provincial Highway No. 62 passes Rueifen and will provide convenient connection to Keelung City when it is completed.
