Although no one can ever be certain, elements of Rudolf II behaviour and personality are consistent with Asperger's Syndrome, a form of high IQ autism. Diamond Dave (8 November, 2005)

No not like Rainman. Somewhat like the shy reclusive scientist Henry Cavendish or the more paranoid Sir Issac Newton. Rainman had low IQ (<75) severe autism, he did not have Asperger's Syndrome which is milder. See People speculated to have been autistic for more examples. Diamond Dave 16/02/2006 17:43

Anyone know why Rudolf II gets a "II" as his ordinal? He is the first Holy Roman Emperor and first ruler of Germany of that name. --Jfruh 16:25, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

There was a Rudolf I, the english wiki names him "Rudolph I of Germany", don't ask me why --81.10.162.27 19:28, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

Because he never was crowned Emperor (or proclaimed Emperor-eclect). He was the first Habsburg King. Str1977 ^{(smile back)} 18:55, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
