Rudy Harris was a professional football player for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the early 1990s. Born Sept. 18, 1971 in Brockton, Massachusetts, Harris was part of a two-back attack at Brockton High School in the late 1980s with Darnell Campbell that launched the team to the number one ranking in the country in 1989.
Harris was a starting full back at Clemson University after graduating Brockton High in 1989 and graduated from Clemson in 1993. He was drafted in the fourth round, number 91 overall, by the Buccaneers in the 1993 National Football League draft. He spent two seasons with the Bucs before being cut in camp in 1995. He played in 18 games in his career, in which he rushed for 29 yards on 9 carries and caught 6 passes for 59 yards. He also returned one kick in 1994 for 12 yards.
