Thomas "Rudy" Abrams was the 18th head college football coach for the North Carolina Central University Eagles located in Durham, North Carolina and he held that position for four seasons, from 1999 until 2002. His coaching record at North Carolina Central was 18 wins, 21 losses, and 0 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2007 season, this ranks him eighth at North Carolina Central in total wins and 12th at North Carolina Central in winning percentage (0.462).[1]
