Rudolf Stingel

Rudolf Stingel (born 1956) is an artist based in New York.
Stingel was born in Merano. His work engages the audience in dialogue about their perception of art[1] and uses Conceptual painting and installations to explore the process of creation.[2] Stingel employs various materials, and references to other art movements, to challenge contemporary notions about painting.[3]
