Cartier was a highly significant figure in the history and development of British television, specifically drama programming for the BBC, and therefore a noteworthy biographical subject.
As he was a television director and thus worked behind the scenes, it is very difficult to find alternative free use images of him.
The image is smaller than the original, as required by Wikipedia fair use guidelines.
The image is included for informational purposes only, and is not believed to detract from the original production in any way.
