The Swiss Company Ruckstuhl was founded 1881 by Moritz Ruckstuhl. Ruckstuhl is a manufacturer mainly of carpets and rugs but also of other designer furniture. Ruckstuhl is internationally recognized and has showrooms in Milan, Paris and New York.

Ruckstuhl manufactures sustainable carpets made of wood, coir, linen, paper, sisal, wool, hair yarn and animal hides.
Ruckstuhl collaborates with designers such as Jack Lenor Larsen, Zumbühl + Birsfelder, Matteo Thun and Alfredo Häberli.
