Ruaridh Jackson

Ruaridh James Howard Jackson (born Feb 12, 1988 in Northampton, England) is a Scottish rugby union footballer. He plays professional rugby for Glasgow Warriors on an apprentice contract and represents Scotland Sevens at fly-half. In the 2006 Dubai Sevens it was noted that Ruaridh has the talent to take him to the next level, scoring two tries.
Playing for Robert Gordon's College, his former school, he kicked four conversions against Selkirk High School in the Royal Navy Schools Sevens final in 2006. In winning the competition with a 28-19 victory in that final, Robert Gordon’s qualified to represent Scotland in the Four Nations' Rugby Sevens in Portsmouth. Ruaridh also played a major part in helping the school 1st XV reach the final of the Bell Lawrie White Scottish Schools Cup in January 2006 and he is now a member of Scottish Rugby’s National Academy. He has also played for Scotland at cricket as a member of the national under-17 team. He's also a member of West of Scotland Institute of Sport and has joined Cartha Queen's Park.
