RT Rail

RT Rail is a small English railway spot-hire company, a subsidiary of ECT, that specialises in Class 08 shunting locomotives. Its fleet is available to hire to both industrial and railway operators. Customers have included Bombardier Transportation at Ilford Works, Freightliner, First ScotRail at Inverness, and Silverlink. The company also owns one Class 73 locomotive, and a single Class 20 locomotive which was placed on loan to the Weardale Railway.
