This image is of a cover of an audio recording, and the copyright for it is most likely owned by either the publisher of the album or the artist(s) which produced the recording or cover artwork in question. It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of such covers solely to illustrate the audio recording in question, on the English-language Wikipedia, hosted on servers in the United States by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation, qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law. I believe that use of this image of an album cover is acceptable for the discussion of the album itself. It is a low-res image, there is no free equivalent, and certainly there has been previous publication. I believe it conforms with Wikipedia's media policy.

I can't possibly make any case on the following grounds....

• Encyclopedic use
• Minimal use
• One article minimum
• fair use

As I only uploaded the file with an immediate aim in mind - and that intended usage was encyclopedic, minimal and fair. I can't prevent other wikipedians from including this image in other articles and thus cannot accept the onus for satifying those criteria.

Wikipedia should consider deleting unjustified links to an image that is fairly used in some articles but not others.
