Welcome!
Hello, Rstrawn, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}}
after the question on your talk page. Again, welcome! Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Positive attitude article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
Feel free to re-submit a new version of the article. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."
You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page. Nposs 23:07, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Rstrawnbioprint04.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Rstrawnbioprint04.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 02:09, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Promotional contributions
Please take some time to read over the guidelines before contributing further. In particular, "What Wikipedia is not" (see WP:NOT). For example:
- Wikipedia is not a place to publish your own thoughts and analyses WP:NOT#OR
- Wikipedia is not a soapbox or a vehicle for advertising or self-promotion. WP:NOT#SOAP
- Wikipedia is not a how-to manual. WP:NOT#IINFO
I suggest that you also take a look at the external link guidelines WP:EL and spam WP:SPAM. Also copying-and-pasting material from other sources is a violation of a key policy: Wikipedia:Policies_and_guidelines. Nposs 02:15, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

Put this template on your image {{GFDL}}. It really isn't that hard--$UIT 04:29, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] External links
External links must be directly related to the topic of the article. "Overcoming the fear of public speaking" is a more specific subject than "Public speaking" and adding a link to such material is inappropriate according to the external link guidelines - WP:EL. Continuing to add links to your own website is viewed as "conflict of interest" - WP:COI. Persisting in such additions can lead to having the website blacklisted from Wikipedia or placing a block on your user account. Please read these guidelines and reconsider your pattern of editing.
