[edit] Wednesday, 4 June 2008

I was at Marina Square and the nearby Esplanade today for a little shopping and sightseeing with me kiddies when I heard the roar of jets thundering overhead, up tilted my head and the sight of a finger-four formation flight of the Black Knights in their trademark red & white livery greeted me and the little ones was going all awed and thrilled by that sight of the flypast although they have seen it many times on TV as well as from my past photo collections taken during my active service days. Paused and watch as they went on to rehearse more of their aerobatic routine over the area, such as the Delta FlyBy, Slow speed then afterburner climb and Palm split aka Bomb Burst and Swan Roll.

Telling myself now: must get tickets to NDP 2008, and if not I will get myself perched on or near the top of Equinox Complex at SwissĂ´tel The Stamford to catch and snap that awesome sight again. Anyway, just wondering if anyone else saw the sight of RSAF Black Knights today? --Dave1185 (talk) 17:32, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

I am surprised they are still in action. Wasent there news that they will be "in cold storage" again after the Thailand performance?--Huaiwei (talk) 03:31, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
  • Hey Huaiwei, who said they were going to being sent to the ice palace? Haha... I have inside news way before they were going to make a press release for participation in this year's NDP, didn't you noticed that I had posted their "alleged" participation in the NDP page the day before and they just conveniently appear yesterday to prove my point but I really wasn't expecting them to make themselves known until at least this Friday. Man, they are certainly loud! --Dave1185 (talk) 03:47, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
