RPG Host consists of News sites, Archive sites, Resource Sites, Game sites, Shopping sites, Chat sites, and Forum sites. The News sites have extensive product reviews and RPG information. The sheer number of sites and volume of information, make it one of the most valuable RPG sites online. The forum site alone consists of 19 forums for discussing all aspects of Role Playing Games. The site has thousands of users, many of whom are regulars. RPG Host is less strict than some sites, with very professional moderators. The resources offered by the network range from RPG tips, to hard to find character record sheets. The RPG shop is very extensive. The unique articles and forums, including a Hosted Publishers forum, round out the network.

In April, 2006, the popular roleplaying chat sites that the RPGhost network had maintained in some form since 1996 were transferred onto a new server with new owners. Though the chat sites are now housed on a different server, RPGHost still maintains a level of control over the chat sites and retains the option to move them back to the original RPGHost server at any time if deemed necessary.
