RP Broadcasting

RP Broadcasting is a radio broadcasting company based in Bemidji, Minnesota owned by Roger Paskvan. Roger is also a professor in Mass Communications at Bemidji State University.
RP Broadcasting owns and operates three radio stations in the Bemidji area consisting of KKBJ 1360 (Talk), KKBJ-FM 103.7 (Hot AC), and WBJI 98.3 (Classic Country) in Bemidji.
Another new station is in the process of being built. Licensed to 1300 AM, with no official plans or sign-on date known.
Paskvan Media owned by his son Troy, signed on WMIS-FM 92.1 October 1, 2007. It's debut as a female orientated station, was pulled off without much notice. After a few months, the station soon was heard with more and more music, and less of the female orientated fare. In April 2008, some local rumors began circulating about a new format.
