Roy Cole (born 1932, Bradford, England) studied typography under Emil Ruder at the Allgemeine Gewerbeschule Basel, Switzerland, in the early 1960s. He formed a type foundry in 2003 with the specific objective of developing further the sans serif style of typeface.
