[edit] Kasturi Class
I'm not very much into ships, but why are the Kasturi Class -Corvettes are in the Frigate and not the Corvette Category? --134.76.63.1 21:20, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Kapal DiRaja
- Kapal DiRaja: Would a Malay-speaker help out ? Does not this mean "Royal Ship" as opposed to "His Majesty's Ship "?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.248.225.148 (talk • contribs)
[edit] HMMS or KD?
The RMN's ships now carried the prefix Her Majesty's Malayan Ship (HMMS).
- As far as I know the prefix is KD. Why need to tanslate it to HMMS? 218.111.3.54 18:46, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

- Yeah, that was before independence , seems the article did not emphasised on the KD (Kapal Di-Raja) term used after independence (with the Royal usage with respect to the Malaysian King not the British Monarch). But it is there somewhere in the article, have to rearrange it clearly I guess.

- Yes, I realize about that, but I think the RMN written there refer to Royal Malayan Navy, (back at that time Malaya was still under British...and the 'Royal' refer to the Queen, not the the Malaysian King.
