Does not "Tentera Udara Diraja Persekutuan" literally mean "Royal Federation Air Force" or somesuch

The translation is literally correct. The official name for Malaysia is Persekutuan Malaysia/Federation of Malaysia. Before Malaysia was formed, it was Persekutuan Tanah Melayu/Federation of Malaya. Thus, the translation is correct.

If i'm not wrong, some of the RMAF planes are on leased, such as the DHC-4A Caribou. Shouldn't we include those that are on leased and provide information about this in the table.

Certain planes listed such as the fighter planes from Italy were present in the previous table before my edits.

The RMAF bought 10 new Mi-171Sh Hip-H helicopters from Russia. The RMAF has in its fleet, the MB-339CD training aircraft. The above valid entries were deleted by User:MilborneOne.

Sorry if I introduced more errors but the table was full of junk entries. Aircraft scrapped or lost in accidents were listed as leased out and included in totals. The Caribous have log since been retired, another example was having the Bell 47G on order - a 1940/1950s helicopter! Some entries like Hawk appeared under fighter and trainer and were counted in the totals twice. Reference used for edits was [1].MilborneOne 11:27, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

I have spun of the aircraft list to List of aircraft of the Royal Malaysian Air Force, it includes current and former aircraft. MilborneOne 19:33, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Air Marshal or Marshal of the Air Force

The article states that "Air Marshall - This rank is only used by Malaysian King as a special rank." However in English "Air Marshal" is a 3-star rank. Wouldn't "Marshal of the Air Force" (a 5-star rank) be a better translation? Greenshed 23:08, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
