[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Southern-europe-1940.JPG

Image:Southern-europe-1940.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Paratroop division

I plan to add a section on the composition of a WWII Italian paratroop division to this article. This does not seem controversial to me. But I am discussing it prior to making any changes. I intend to indicate number of regiments and what equipment was available. I have previously added sections on the composition of the other divisions. My overall comment concerning this article is that it is a good place to place information concerning the "make up" of the Royal Italian Army during WWII. Ultimately, this would be a good place for lists of links to WWII era Italian armies and corps too. I think the "history" within this article should be kept to a minimum . . . with MANY links to histories that already exist and that could exist. I would like to one day create a separate article on the 1940 advance into Egypt. It is currently rolled into the Operation Compass article, but it is really a separate event and does not belong there other than as a referenced link. Please let me know if adding a section on Paratroops is acceptable. Thanks! Mkpumphrey (talk) 17:44, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

Regio Esercito (World War II) → Italian Royal Army (1940 - 1946) — a far more common name in English that also reflects the usage in the article —mrg3105 (comms) ♠♣ 05:38, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
