Royston railway station serves the town of Royston in Hertfordshire, England. The station is 72 km (45 miles) north east of London Kings Cross and 21 km (13 miles) west of Cambridge on First Capital Connect's "London King's Cross to Cambridge Line".
Electric trains from Kings Cross used to terminate at Royston with a diesel train connecting passengers onwards to Cambridge. From 1988 the whole line from London to Cambridge was electrified [1].
