Royal Western India Turf Club

The Royal Western India Turf Club is an sports elite club in Mumbai, India. It was formed in 1880, on reclaimed marshy land at Mahalaxmi. The club runs the Mahalaxmi Racecourse. The racecourse was shifted from the Byculla Club to the present location in 1883. The race course is of 2400 metres with a straight chute for races of 1600 metres.
