Royal Vendors

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Royal Vendors, Inc., is a manufacturer of cold-drink vending machines located in Kearneysville, West Virginia. It was founded in 1988 by Roy Steeley, a former manager at Dixie-Narco, another manufacturer of cold-drink machines. In the mid-1990s, Steeley sold Royal Vendors to Coin Acceptors, Inc. ("Coinco"), of St. Louis, Missouri. In 1997, Steeley went on to co-found a new company, Automated Merchandising Systems ("AMS"), also located in Kearneysville.

In the United States, Royal Vendors is the largest provider of vending machines for the Coca-Cola Company. Less significant Royal Vendors customers include Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages and PepsiCo.
