Royal Order of the Intare

Royal Order of the Intare (Lion) is the dynastic order of the Rwandan Monarchy[1]. It was founded by King Mutara III of Rwanda. Currently King Kigeli V of Rwanda has the right to bestow the order on certain individuals that have earned the right to be awarded this prestigious award. The Chancellor of the Royal House, H. E. Boniface Benzinge.

There are five grades to the Order: Grand Cross, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer and Chevalier.
