Royal Concert Brunei

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

On July 16, 1996, Michael Jackson held a special concert live at the Jerudong Park Ampitheatre in Brunei. This was a special, private concert arranged by the Sultan of Brunei and had an attendance of 60,000.

Although the whole concert was not televised, a bootleg copy of the audio has been leaked onto the Internet, and then posted on many fan forums. As for the video, only a portion of the Jam performance was shown in a news report. However, new footage of the concert is being released on the Internet by means of short clips.

What makes the concert even more distinctive is the unique set list, as it includes songs from Jackson's previous Dangerous world tour and the then upcoming HIStory world tour, which the concert took place just a month before.

It has been assumed that Michael did not want to give away the HIStory tour set list.
