Royal Automobile Association

The Royal Automobile Association, also known simply as the RAA, is a South Australian automobile repair, breakdown and insurance company. The RAA began in 1903, and now has 562,200 members, with an annual profit for the RAA Group of AUD$11.020 million in the financial year 2005-2006.[1]
The head office of the Royal Automobile Association is located at the north-eastern corner of the South Road-Richmond Road intersection, in the Adelaide suburb of Mile End South. Originally, its head office was located in Hindmarsh Square, within the Adelaide central business district. The RAA also has other branch offices located throughout the Adelaide metropolitan area, as well as regional centres in South Australia.
