Roy Smith (Australian politician)

Roy Smith is an Australian politician, and president of the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia.[1] He is a member of the Shooters Party, and in March, 2007, was elected to the New South Wales Legislative Council. Prior to entering politics, he worked as an electrical fitter.[2]
In February, 2008, Smith was involved in controversy over political donations made by the Sporting Shooters Association (which Smith is an executive) to the Shooters Party.[1] The Sporting Shooters association donated $458,266 to the Shooters Party's 2007 election campaign.[3]
