Roy Rogers cocktail

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A Roy Rogers is a non-alcoholic mixed drink made with cola (such as Coca-Cola) and grenadine syrup, garnished with a maraschino cherry. It is considered an acceptable cocktail drink for children (since there is no alcohol). For this reason, it may also be called a kiddie cocktail or simply a homemade Cherry Coke. Grenadine is almost always a non-alcoholic beverage. However, buyers should check the label, since some versions contain alcohol.

It was named for the cowboy actor and singer Roy Rogers.
