Roy Hendry Thomson

Roy Hendry Thomson DL, KStJ, MA (Hons) was born 27 August 1932. He attended Aberdeen Grammar School and gained an MA (honours) in psychology from the University of Aberdeen. National Service: Gordon Highlanders 1955-1957. He is a Knight of the Order of St John and was a Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Aberdeen until August 2007.
The Thomson family owned a series of well known car dealerships in North East Scotland known as "Thomson of Cults" until 1986.
